The incredible Bays De Noc, Cedar River, and Northern Wisconsin area is a World Class Fishery! Cedar River area is located just 20 minutes south of Little and Big Bay De Noc, along Hwy M-35, approximately 5 hours North of Chicago, and 2/1/2 hours West of the great Mackinaw Bridge.
Now after "years" of searching and locating, this local, Captain Lloyd Polfus has untapped and now revealing secrets to this area thats producing huge limits of fish! Many fish range from eating size to trophy, walleye up to 14 lbs, and salmon up to 30 lbs! These "large unpressured schools of walleye and salmon" are attracted to this area because it consists of many underwater humps near deep water, and "wind blown points" that attract clouds of baitfish that in turn attract both record numbers of "hungry monster walleye and salmon"!
These huge great lakes schools of walleye and salmon feed at will, sometimes all day and grow to record lengths and many winning tournaments "heavy weights" have been from the Cedar River area. Also many "tagged" fish studies have consistently shown that these fish yearly "migrate" by the "thousands" to the Cedar River and surrounding area in their quest for more forage, that allows them to grow to their wallhanging porpotions!
We also fish in Green Bay, Fox River, Oconto, Marinette, Wisconsin. We start open water charters in March in Wisconsin, till ice up in Little Bay De Noc in December! Since the Cedar River off shore salmon bite has been so awesome, Captain Lloyd had to open up some dates (June-Sept) for charters to get in on and limit out on these huge line screamers! He also had to beef up his fishing equipment downriggers, rods, dipseys, heavier lb. test line etc. to land them huge 17- 30 lb Kings.
